Typically awful behaviour from the SNP in Scottish Parliament. This time an apology  is rightly demanded. Good and about time. I watch the Holyrood building in session on BBC Parliament quite alot and particularly when debating issues around the referendum it is getting beyond farce. It is clear some of the SNP members believe themselves to have ‘left-wing credentials,’ you can tell by the monkey noises they make and how they hysterically shout over anyone who dares to question their false narrative. Countless independent economic analysts, respected academics and others are derided as ‘traitors’ for merely pointing out the facts. This is what happens when you have a dogmatic extreme Nationalist ideology, you refuse to even entertain the possibility of being wrong even when the truth flies in the face of all you believe. Thank God for the Scottish public who can see through the likes of the slippery Salmond. May the apologies be submitted before the 18th September and the resignations before 2015.- (http://www.heraldscotland.com/politics/referendum-news/academic-wants-apology-from-shouting-msp.24478649)

A compelling case for non-interventionism in The American Conservative- (http://www.theamericanconservative.com/articles/noninterventionism-a-primer/)

A rather stupid article from the New Statesman. I could say alot but the following in the comments section summed up quite abit of my feelings – “I have no interest in classical music, opera or ballet. I’m a postman, I need every penny I earn, but I’m quite happy for my taxes to be used on any form of the arts. Why does classical music have to have a broad appeal? Various art forms often have a narrow following, but that doesn’t mean they’re bad. Britain’s Got Talent has a huge following and regularly produces hit singles and recording artists, but I trust no-one would say how that’s the way you define ‘good’ art. I regularly listen to Radio 4 and dread the day that someone attempts to broaden its appeal.” – (http://www.newstatesman.com/culture/2014/06/classical-music-has-serious-communication-problem)

Pow. Right in the kisser. Obama and Cameron are both vainglorious idiots. These ‘sanctions’ are foolish. – (http://rt.com/business/165248-eu-sanctions-hit-both/)

Richard Dawkins back in the news being an utter fuckwit as always – (http://takimag.com/article/richard_dawkins_cyclops_of_science_james_miller/print#ixzz34N8HYu6c)

Don’t quite know where to start with this one. ‘Wasiuta’ is the most hilarious surname I have heard all day, say it fast enough n sounds like ‘what’s it to you sir?’ Illegally or not, if I had been one of the staff I would’ve just used this as an excuse to work slow/bunk off and then just beg incompetence. I mean, this is Aldi. Who is so desperate for a promotion there to break into cars? Seems bizarre. Then they weren’t even smart enough to blame it on kids but rather left a note inside admitting culpability. Such an odd story I thought. It may have cost the store alot if they couldn’t deliver but but that wouldn’t of touched the wage of the average worker. I would’ve got butt naked and sun bathed on the car bonnet on an extended ‘fag break.’ The boss obviously pressured them into smashing it, putting all the risk on them. – (http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/aldi-staff-break-womans-car-3673263)

Shock horror here as disabled people oppose legislation that treats them as subhuman filth that need to be eradicated – (http://www.christian.org.uk/news/disabled-people-strongly-oppose-assisted-suicide/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+christianinstitute+%28The+Christian+Institute%29)

Jim Goad is as invigorating a read as always. It is true that individual responsibility is being ever diminished and explained away through the false medicalising of everything – (http://takimag.com/article/the_mental_illness_cop_out_jim_goad#axzz347tm94AO)

This may be posed/staged but if not is really quite rancid. Then again she may have ducked in to get some food which around here is mainly done by middle class squatters. Am I the only one who is indifferent to the ‘radio 1 punk show’ closing down? Fair enough they supported Apostates the first time round, always played Perkie and had Smokey Bastard and The Murderburgers in once but in general didn’t they only ever play squeaky clean recordings of safe bands or already popular artists? They only cottoned on to Wonk Unit very recently after the popular music videos and probably would’ve been afraid to play them previously. As far as I’m aware they never touched Emergency Bitter, Jakal, Athens Polytechnic, Dead Beat Heros, The dead class, the undizirebels, Gimp Fist, Southport, I.C.H., 2 Sick Monkeys, anarchistwood, Eastfield, The Indelicates, Billy Liar, Babar Luck, Booze & Glory and on and on, though I could be wrong. They certainly never played any Billy Childish to my knowledge. Then again, Childish was even a bridge to far for John Peel, as Billy sings, “You would’ve thought John Peel, would’ve been our friend, but there was only silence, from his end…” All this aside, times are shifting in such a way that SLAVES are now being played on the main prime time Radio 1 channel itself by Fearne Cotton who in months to come will be wearing a ‘Successful Womanisers’ t-shirt, a Wonk Unit beanie hat and will be blasting Richard Heads CDs. (http://www.rocksound.tv/news/read/bbc-radio-1-axes-the-punk-show-moves-the-rock-show-to-sunday-nights?)

I looked at my hand and my little finger was gone – the bone was sticking out. It’s the weirdest feeling; one second you’re fine and your little finger is there, and the next second it’s gone. It shoves reality up your backside. I was in so much pain and shock that the first thing that hit my head was the beat and the bass. The bass was hard, so I just ripped off my top, wrapped it around my finger and tied it up as tight as I could and skanked it out for half an hour. My mentality was, ‘I’ve only been here for an hour, I’ve paid £10 for this night, I’ve lost my little finger – am I seriously going to go? Na…Well, what can you do? There are fit girls around you, the bass is hard, the music is popping. I didn’t want to be the sore thumb sticking out – or the sore pinky – so I was like, “F*ck it, let’s skank on and enjoy it.” (http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/teen-loses-finger-at-croydon-rave-continues-dancing-because-the-bass-was-hard-9546200.html)
